When my nephew was a kid, I tried to spoil him and his brother with Legos. He now is a father and a Navy Corpsman that served in Afghanistan with the Marines last year, so I had to send this to him! He got a kick out of it and when he returned home (THANK God 
he gave it to his three year old who loves it! Just purchased two more for my boys, I am quite confident they will also enjoy playing with the set.
We purchased this Lego set for my 5 year old and he put it together within minutes. He loves his Legos. He hasn’t played with it much since (he’s moved on to intricate Star Wars Lego sets) but it really is a great toy. Especially if the child likes Toy Story.
So I buy this Lego Army men for my little Achmed. As soon as the box is opened, they see my son’s other Lego Republican Guards set and they attack and destroy them all? What is going on here I ask myself? These simple little Republican Guards were just in the kitchen floor trying to make their way back to the living room. Now my poor little Achmed is being held in an undisclosed location, at least that’s what the lego Army liason tells me. Alimcgraw, I cry! What am I going to tell his mother?
4 year old is just getting into legos. He can put together basic stuff, like the men but not the jeep. If it’s a more complex piece, like some of the Star Wars stuff we got him, I put it together and then he can put most of little pieces back on that might have fallen off. This army set is great for him, the men he can put together and rebuild if necessary, and the jeep is very solid once put together and very unlikely to come apart anyway. He wanted some army men and some star wars clones for xmas and ended up being very happy with getting the lego versions of them. He’s not quite 4 & 1/2 and has a great time with these and other legos, really uses his hand coordination skills and his imagination. He’s a little video game addict but will happily play with legos instead on many of the times he’s given the opportunity to place the video games. This set also scores extra points for the great Toy Story likeness as well as the removable stands that actually make these little guys easier to play with on carpet and other uneven surfaces than regular lego guys are. Love it!
For roughly under 12 bucks I think that this is one of the best Lego sets you can buy for the money! Comes with four guys! They are Lego army man, what else could you want?!?!
